In 1884, concerned community members in Wilmington came together to help meet the needs of their struggling neighbors. It began a legacy of caring individuals, working together and dedicated to improving the lives of children and families. Now, a statewide organization, CFFDE engages over 20,000 individuals each year, steadfast in their commitment to champion children and families using evidence-based, equity-centered, and innovative approaches.
