Our Mission:

Our mission is to walk alongside women and families navigating life transitions, trauma, and systemic barriers, helping them rediscover their strength, purpose, and power beyond measure.

Board Size: We are a small board of less than 10 people with no committees

Board Meetings: Held Monthly Virtually
Every last Thursday of the month at 6:30 PM EST (if this date falls on a holiday, meetings move to the week before)

Board Elections: Conducted in December, with new terms beginning in January.

We are not seeking to fill a specific officer position.

We currently have 2 open board positions:

We’re seeking passionate leaders with experience in fundraising, community advocacy, government and policy, or grant writing.

We do not require an annual financial contribution from board members.

Our board asks our members to participate in fundraising: Give or Get a specific amount, help with asking, help with planning/prospecting

Women Beyond Measures is a newly established 501(c)(3) nonprofit, officially founded in September 2024, dedicated to empowering women and families through mental health support, education, career readiness, and case management.

We are a faith-based organization, and while faith guides our mission, belief is never a requirement to receive help. We provide hands-on services including workforce and college preparation, personal development, and case management, connecting women and families to the tools and support they need to thrive.

Through programs like our Thrive Together Resource Fair and Action Ed, we’re building stronger, more resilient communities across Delaware.
