Community of Practice: Public Policy

Calling all nonprofit policy folks! Join DANA’s public policy team every other Friday at 10 a.m. for a community of practice where we discuss the ongoings of the General Assembly as they relate to our sector and work through our own organization’s policy initiatives. This meeting is intended for public policy-focused professionals to come together as we all work through our policy agenda. This is the best forum to receive public policy support from DANA and stay informed on the public policy work DANA is engaging in on behalf of the sector.

Kent County DANA Members – Ice Cream and Mini Golf

Join DANA for a fun evening of networking, ice cream, and mini golf!
Things will kick off in the party room of Tres Sorelle Dolce in Wyoming, DE. After decorating your ice cream at the ice cream bar, we’ll have some time to network. Then, we will provide you with the latest SCOOP on DANA’s activities and news of interest to the nonprofit sector. We’ll conclude the evening with a festive round of mini-golf… bring your “A” game!

This workshop will outline negotiation tactics with government agencies, the goals of government, and how to leverage the strengths every nonprofit comes with in negotiations. This event will highlight real examples of negotiation challenges and opportunities through the experiences of Delaware nonprofit leaders.
