Intro to Effective Program Evaluation

This training introduces the use of program evaluation to enhance a program’s effectiveness for all stakeholders. It offers program directors a framework to refine data collection processes and helps frontline staff develop foundational knowledge to play a larger role in evaluation, thereby maximizing program impact.

Kent County DANA Members – Ice Cream and Mini Golf

Join DANA for a fun evening of networking, ice cream, and mini golf!
Things will kick off in the party room of Tres Sorelle Dolce in Wyoming, DE. After decorating your ice cream at the ice cream bar, we’ll have some time to network. Then, we will provide you with the latest SCOOP on DANA’s activities and news of interest to the nonprofit sector. We’ll conclude the evening with a festive round of mini-golf… bring your “A” game!

Empowered Negotiation: Government Contracts and Your Nonprofit

Negotiating with government agencies may not be what many nonprofit professionals envision for themselves, but for many it is becoming the reality. This workshop will outline negotiation tactics with government agencies, the goals of government, and how to leverage the strengths every nonprofit comes with in negotiations. This event will highlight real examples of negotiation challenges and opportunities through the experiences of Delaware nonprofit leaders.

Community of Practice: Public Policy

Calling all nonprofit policy folks! Join DANA’s public policy team every other Friday at 10 am for a community of practice where we discuss the ongoings of the General Assembly as they relate to our sector and work through our own organization’s policy initiatives. This meeting is intended for public policy-focused professionals to come together as we all work through our policy agenda. This is the best forum to receive public policy support from DANA and also stay informed on the public policy work DANA is engaging in on behalf of the sector.

DANA On-Demand

DANA is pleased to offer on-demand higher education and professional development courses. Some are approved for CFRE and/or CEU credits. These classes will complement our local learning opportunities. Topics include: leadership, management, finance, human resource, marketing, social media, and project management.  Nonprofit professionals can complete these courses from any location on their own time and at their own pace.
